I know I've been away from this site for awhile, but with good reason I promise. Here's an update.....
I was approached by my good friends Melanie and Kyle owners of the Baroness Bar in Long Island City to start my own kitchen in thier bar. Who could pass up such an amazing offer? Not me. I quickly got to work on my new menu, and the great changes that would come for my life. I left my long time postition at Dirty Burger. Although it saddened me to leave a place I had worked to build for so long, I knew a bigger opportunity was waiting for me. The Baroness Bar presents "The Beauty and The Beef" menu began on July 15th, 2015. The Philly Chef LLC was offically created and at the age of 24, I own my own business. To say its been easy would be a lie, I have poured my heart, soul and body into making this a success. In the short time we've been open we have seen an outpouring of love from our guests. It's an amazing feeling to have people love what I have worked so hard to put together. Heres a peek at what I've been up to, and I promise to keep you all updated. If your in the Long Island City area come check us out, with an amazing selection of craft beer, wine and food your sure to not be diaspointed. Oh did I mention you can open a champange bottle with a sword? Yeah, the place is that cool.
